Exciting News!

I have exciting news! Well it's only kinda exciting-otherwise I would have told you sooner.
Okay, here it is: Look at the Pic below...

You are looking at a newly accepted Moody student!!! AHHHHHH! :P
But the reason I'm not super excited is that I wasn't accepted at the Chicago campus, where I applied, but at the Spokane campus waaaaaaaay out in Washington state. We didn't even know the Spokane campus existed until I was accepted there!
Very far far away. But I'm pretty sure that I am going to accept that offer. Hopefully I can go there for a year and then transfer into the Chicago school sophomore year (and hopefully I won't die of homesickness during that year!!)
We'll see, I'm just thankful that I've even been accepted! THANK YOU JESUS!!! :) haha

Haiti Trip Update

Last Monday the Haiti team met to talk about the trip details. We talked about how to pack for the trip, and some other things we needed to do to prepare for the trip. It looks like we are still planning to go to Haiti this March(we leave on the 5th).

I love how this trip is completely showing God's amazing hand move.
Like even before I wanted to go to Haiti, I felt that God was calling me to go on a mission trip somewhere. Then one of the Haiti Bible Missionaries came to my church and was talking about their ministries in Haiti... thats when I felt a pull at my heart that God wanted me to go to haiti:)
crazy, crazy. I never though I would be able to raise the money or any of that. But that's what I love about being in God's will; He just takes care of everything! :D

p.s. SUPER BOWL TONIGHT!! I don't really know any of the teams, but I have decided to root for the saints:)

Groundhog

I doubt that the ground hog came out yesterday. It was to cold. But the good news: Only 6 more weeks till spring!! Or a month and a half, or 44 days. Whichever way you want to look at it. I'm just glad that It's coming soon!

The FL Trip

That was a fast week. Can't believe that just last sunday I was getting on a Plane heading to Florida. And now Here I am, a week later, back at home with my hoodie on, socks, slippers on and wrapped in a big blankey. It is COLD! :P
It was definitely a relaxing trip. Lot's of time spent out in the sun... and apparently I didn't wear enough sun screen. I have a burn in a nice shade of red.

my toes enjoyed seeing the world again... instead of being all trapped in tennie shoes:P except for my big toe which I wounded while I was taking a picture. I wasn't watching where I was going and there was a step and... wipe out:/


Naked Juice is sooooo good. and healthy too! I highly recommend it.

Grey Rainy Day

It's been the most dreary rainy day today. And I can't help but feel so excited that only one more sleep till the warm Florida weather!! We leave tomorrow at like 11:00am.
I hope everyone had a really great week! I feel like I got a lot done, I spent extra time working of school and piano and quizzing so that I could just relax this week in Florida:D I can't wait to share lots of pics with you after the trip!!!!!!

p.s. Has anyone heard of JJ Heller? She's like my favorite singer right now. I love how simple her songs are:)

Tweaking the Blog

I've been playing around with the look of the blog. So if you see it changing a lot over the next few days... you'll know why:P
I hope everyone had a really good week. I'm so excited for the weekend, and not because I'm doing anything special either. I'm just looking forward to a bit of wind down time. I think I may just get lost in a book tomorrow.

More Resale Finds

The latest finds from the resale shop. This time it's mostly dresses. Dress for Florida, looong dress for Haiti:), skirt for around the house, and then we found 2 cute dresses for Mariah. I put for you little circles with the prices so that you can see how much savings went on;) Enjoy!


I got this one for the Haiti dayz, but you have all probably heard about the huge earthquake that they just had:( The team may not go this march but if we do go we would be going as a relief team instead.
pray for the Haitians! From what I've seen on CNN and the e-net... it looks pretty devastating!

Mariah is too funny, we just walk into the resale shop and she says "can we go now?" ...she doesn't enjoy shopping very much. But she did a good job. She found a few cute dresses:)
